Návrh revitalizace zámeckého parku

This diploma thesis deals with the revitalization of the Neznašov castle park. The theoretical part describes castle gardens and parks in the Czech Republic, evolution of garden art and allows a comprehensive view on small South Bohemian castle parks and gardens in rural areas. Protection and recovery methods related to castle parks and gardens are mentioned as well. The practical part of the thesis is focused on both historical and current state of the Neznašov castle park. The revitalization design is based on available documentation, field survey and inventory of existing trees.

This bachelor thesis deals with "Historical Parks and Gardens in the Czech Republic". The thesis is composed as a literature review and is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with distinctive features, natural components and landscape of the Czech Republic. The following chapter focuses on detailed description of historical parks and gardens, their protection and historical development according to the architectural style from 12th to 20th century. The reader is also acquainted with the role of the state administration of historical parks and castle gardens. An important part of the thesis brings a list of the most important historical parks and gardens including their map depiction. A significant part of the thesis deals with detailed description of three chosen examples, namely the Botanical Garden of Charles University in Prague, the Castle Gardens in Český Krumlov and the Lednice-Valtice Area. During the field research a photo documentation of these examples has been done.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Historical parks and chateau gardens in Southern Bohemia". It uses a form of literary recherche and contains eleven chapters. First part presents the terminology used regarding this topic. Consequent chapters describe in depth the landscape of Southern Bohemia and Czech historical gardens fund. The main topic of the thesis are gardens, so the next part describe the evolution of garden art and individual eras and changes in garden architecture happening through history. Subsequent chapters deal with a topic of garden restoration and techniques of historical garden restoration. The most important part of this thesis is a comprehensive list of historical parks and chateau gardens in Southern Bohemia, including an attached map. Three of the gardens are described thoroughly, namely: Terčino údolí, Kratochvíle chateu and castle gardens in Český Krumlov. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the beauty and importance of historical parks and gardens.

Vzácné dřeviny zámeckých zahrad

This thesis deals with rare trees of castle parks in Zlín region. The work defines the basic terms which are connected with rare trees. It charakterizes the selected region and selected parks. This work is also solving appropriate and effective national legislation meaning possible protection, care and support to improve the current state of these elements and objects. It endeavour to highlight the specifics and problems of individual objects and selected rare trees. The work is focused on the evaluation and registration of rare trees. In the region is selected 21 castle parks where is done field research. It is recorded parameters of 55 rare trees and evaluate their condition. The results of this thesis show that in the castle parks of Zlín region many rare trees is found and care for them is necessary.
